What you'll do:

Execute tests according to agreed instructions, including international and Electrolux internal standards. Set up and prepare tests in terms of equipment, samples, area, materials, and any other conditions necessary to properly complete the evaluation. Undertake assigned technical tasks of low complexity under the supervision of professional colleagues. Use existing procedures to support the daily laboratory activities. Receive instructions, guidance, and direction from others. The Laboratory Specialist position may be preceded by a Lab Assistant entry point where new employees learn from colleagues and build up experience of our products and processes.

In detail, you will:

  • Prepare and execute laboratory activities related to the performance testing dishwashing machine

  • Actively participate in the development of new projects

  • Work autonomously, following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement

  • Solve a range of straightforward to complex problems

  • Interact with cross-functional teams, shares knowledge

  • Broaden competence in own area, acquire higher level skills

  • Receive moderate guidance and direction in own area of knowledge

  • Prioritize and organize own work to deliver to agreed deadlines

  • Apply knowledge/skills to a variety of standard day to day activities.

  • Identify and solve problems in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, analyzes each using standard procedures

  • Contribute actively to team activities, sharing experience and ideas

  • Build productive relationships within and outside of own team

  • Quality Management according to ISO/IEC 17025

  • Support Cost reduction and Quality improvement activities

  • Support Consumer Magazines activities

  • Cleaning & Drying Technology Laboratory facilities and equipment’s control

    Qualifications:

    • High vocational ’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent through acquired technical knowledge

    • 0-2 years’ experience in relevant experience, in International and National standard for household appliances (ISO/IEC 17025)

    • Knowledge of EN/IEC 60436, EN 50242, AS/NZS 2007.1, and AS/NZS 2007.2

    • BT 20290 GB+ 38383 Consumer CHOICE Consumer ICRT IEC 60335-2-11

    Knowledge:

    • Products Knowledge

    • Dishwasher Functionality

    • ISO/IEC 17025

    • PPM & Basic Microsoft Project International/National standard of Dishwasher Product

    • Test Equipment and Data Acquisition

    • Product Safety

    • Product Certification

    Skills:

    • EN60436, EN50242, AS/NZS 2007, GB+38383

    • Consumer test protocol (CHOICE, ICRT)

    • Document control according to ISO/IEC 17025

    • Problem Solving, Judgement & decision making

    • Interpersonal skills

    You will be based in our Rayong plant and report to Laboratory Manager.
