Performance Tester

• Approx. 4-week contract

We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Performance Test Consultant to support a Victorian State Government organisation through a critical stage of its migration from on-premises infrastructure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
This is a short, outcome-focused engagement requiring someone who can come in, get across the environment quickly and take a hands-on role in performance testing across the current and migrated Oracle environments.

About the Role
You will be responsible for establishing the current performance baseline, executing load and stress testing, and validating performance following the migration to OCI. Our preference is for someone available full-time for approximately four weeks. However, given the specialist nature of the requirement, we’re also open to experienced consultants who can work part-time and/or outside standard business hours, provided project deadlines can be met. However, Some availability during standard business hours will still be required for project meetings and stakeholder engagement.

The environment includes:

• Oracle EBS 12 across HR, Payroll and Finance/Procurement
• Reporting and analytics dashboards and reports
• Oracle workloads transitioning from on-premises infrastructure to OCI

The testing will cover baseline testing in the existing production environment, rehearsal in non-production and final validation in the OCI production environment, including comparison of response times, throughput, stability and performance constraints.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on performance testing experience within complex enterprise environment
• Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
• Experience designing and executing load, stress and performance test scenarios
• Ability to develop performance test approaches, scenarios, scripts, test data and execution plans
