Performance Tester

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using Apache JMeter.
• Conduct performance testing for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor server resources, response times, throughput, and error rates during performance tests.
• Prepare performance test reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in performance testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
• Experience in load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing.
• Knowledge of API performance testing (REST/SOAP).
• Understanding of response time, throughput, latency, and concurrent users.
• Experience with SQL and database performance analysis.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for performance testing.
• Experience with Linux commands and server-side performance monitoring.
