Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive periodontal examinations and assess patients’ periodontal health status.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for the prevention and management of periodontal diseases.
  • Carry out advanced periodontal procedures such as scaling and root planing, gum grafts, and laser therapy as required.
  • Collaborate closely with general dentists and other specialists to provide integrated care for patients.
  • Educate patients on periodontal disease prevention, oral hygiene, and maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and manage follow-up care and documentation.
  • Keep abreast of the latest research, techniques, and technologies in periodontics.

Requirements

  • Dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited institution with specialization in Periodontics.
  • Board certification or recognized qualification in Periodontics.
  • Valid dental license to practice in Sharjah, UAE.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing periodontal health and performing periodontal surgical procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of periodontal disease etiology, diagnosis, and treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to educate and engage patients effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team environment.
