PERM Bank IT Business Analyst – Cash Management ($7000-$9000) #BYR

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business / Functional Analyst to support the delivery and enhancement of Payment and Cash Management solutions across the Asia Pacific region.

Working closely with business, operations, technology teams and external vendors, you will perform end-to-end business and functional analysis, translate business needs into functional requirements, and support projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle.

The role requires strong functional knowledge of Payments and Cash Management, particularly domestic and international payment processing within APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Team Lead / Lead Business Analyst in delivering Payment and Cash Management initiatives.

• Perform end-to-end business and functional analysis for Cash Management products and services across APAC markets.

• Analyse business and operational requirements and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency, user experience and overall service delivery.

• Translate requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements and specifications for technology teams and external vendors.

• Conduct user story grooming sessions, clarify requirements and review functional specifications and solution artefacts produced by vendors.

• Identify and map data and information requirements between internal systems and external parties, including clearing houses, partner banks and service providers.

• Maintain and update relevant application interface and functional documentation.

• Review functional and technical solution designs to ensure they meet agreed business requirements.

• Work closely with technology teams, vendors, Product Owners, Operations and other stakeholders to resolve issues and manage project dependencies.

• Review System Integration Testing (SIT) scenarios and analyse defects raised by testing teams.

• Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and test scenarios, coordinate stakeholder participation and ensure defects are tracked through to timely resolution.

• Provide functional clarification and support during SIT, UAT, regression testing and rehearsal testing.

• Support deployment and implementation activities, including user sanity testing and production verification / penny testing where applicable.

• Independently investigate issues, identify appropriate solutions and escalate matters when required.

• Maintain close communication with Business and Operations teams to support project implementation and day-to-day operational requirements.

Requirements

• Approximately 8–10 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, Payments, Cash Management or related areas.

• Strong functional knowledge of Payments and Cash Management, including domestic and international payment processing.

• Good understanding of payment orchestration and treasury services.

• Experience across the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, testing, implementation and post-deployment support.

• Good understanding of APAC payment processing and clearing flows, including markets such as Singapore, India and China.

• Knowledge of regional payment and clearing rails such as FAST, MEPS+, CHATS and RTGS.

• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and/or legacy payment messaging standards would be advantageous.

• Experience preparing user stories, functional requirements, process flows and interface specifications.

• Hands-on experience supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management and production implementation.

• Experience working with external technology vendors and cross-functional stakeholders would be advantageous.

• Business Analysis certification would be an added advantage.
