Perm | Maintenance Engineer | Pioneer | Up to $8000 #NKA

Location: Pioneer

Working Hours: 8:15am to 5:15pm in Pioneer from Mon to Fri

Salary: Up to $8000

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.
• Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance engineers, technicians and contractors.
• Investigate equipment failures, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure all machinery, utilities and facilities are maintained to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through TPM, Lean Manufacturing and reliability engineering practices.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory and external vendors to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations and company policies, including LOTO and permit-to-work systems.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare reports on equipment performance, downtime and maintenance costs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support production requirements and operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of team management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, automation and control systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing and reliability engineering principles.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
