About Us
Many 16-year-olds in Singapore struggle with poor teaching in school. We save them by providing high-quality Biology education that genuinely cares. We’ve served over 1000+ happy parents & students, and achieved a 2.3 AVERAGE grade jump for each student.
We're a small, focused team (3 tutors including our founder, 2 full-time assistants, and several part-timers). Being small is our advantage: no bureaucracy, no politics. When a student raises a need, we deliver in days, not months.
The Role
You'll be the founder's right hand — taking real ownership of the work that keeps the business running and frees the founder to grow it.
It's a genuine mix. Some days you'll be trusted with meaningful business projects that stretch you and require learning (e.g. using AI tools to build and manage a simple app). Other times you'll handle the hands-on essentials — restocking, buying supplies, errands, and keeping our learning space in order — plus personal and lifestyle support for the founder and his family; Managing schedules, booking appointments, coordinating household vendors, running errands, and assisting the founder's spouse with daily tasks and event coordination.
We're looking for someone humble enough to do the small things well, and sharp enough to grow into big responsibilities.
Career path: Personal Assistant -> Operations Manager -> Chief of Operations -> Chief Executive Officer. The rationale for this pathway is that the Founder plans to step back as an Owner-Advisor, and eventually needs someone to take his role as CEO. Responsibilities and compensation grow together.
What it's like to work with the founder
Down-to-earth and no-nonsense. When something goes wrong, you're mentored, not blamed — the focus is always finding the real cause and the better system. We're neutral, practical, and on your side.
Hours
Full-time, in-person. Located right beside Rochor MRT for ease of travel. We value flexibility over clock-watching — once your work is done well, we don't make you sit around 9-to-5. Work hours are negotiable and may sometimes include work-from-home.
Our classes run in the evenings, but night time is rarely required (the founder handles late duties).
On the occasional evening we need you (e.g. a practical lab session that ends late), you're paid overtime.
The ideal candidate:
High attention to detail and conscientiousness
High tech-savviness is non-negotiable. Printer jams, software glitches, unfamiliar tools — you sort them out yourself. Your instinct should be to Google it, find a tutorial, fix it. If independent troubleshooting isn’t your thing, this role will frustrate you.
Fluent with social media. Filming and recording on your phone, simple edits, posting Reels and Stories. You should already use these tools regularly and be able to learn a new app in an afternoon.
Very proficient in English, speaks and texts professionally (as you’ll be the face of the Founder)
Takes ownership and finishes without being chased
Proactive problem-solver who thinks ahead without being asked
Growth mindset — eager to learn new skills, take on new projects
Strong moral compass, genuinely wants the best for students and teammates
Singaporean/PR, able to work in-person near Rochor
Bonus (not required): Experience in PA/assistant to a business owner. Character and competence matter more than your resume.
