About the Role

You’ll work primarily in your assigned client’s home, managing daily routines, coordinating services, and moving household projects forward. You should be comfortable both planning an organizing project and completing everyday tasks such as laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.

You’ll work independently, with guidance and support from management and Pepper’s team. Responsibilities reflect the client’s needs and agreed service scope.

**This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, and managing the details that help busy professionals thrive. It is not designed for candidates seeking childcare, housekeeping-only, or entry-level administrative work.

For this household, key priorities include:

  • Creating and maintaining household organization systems
  • Planning and preparing meals
  • Grocery shopping and household errands
  • Laundry and wardrobe care
  • Daily household resets, dishes, and light household upkeep
  • Coordinating vendors and supporting home maintenance
  • Seasonal planning and needs
  • Travel management and planning
  • Caring for and working around cats, rodents, and reptiles.

Qualities of an Ideal PA

  • Inclusive, open-minded, and nonjudgmental, with respect for diverse identities, relationships, and perspectives, including LGBTQIA+ identities and consensual nontraditional relationship structures.
  • Familiar with neurodivergence, particularly ADHD, or willing to learn how to provide effective support. Able to recognize individual cues, approach communication with curiosity and patience, and adapt organizational systems to the client’s needs.
  • Willing to learn about the client’s individual needs to provide thoughtful support and anticipate when assistance may be helpful regarding chronic illness and pain.
  • Organized and resourceful, with the ability to create practical structure in spaces where belongings and projects may accumulate.
  • Comfortable working in a lived-in home with varying levels of tidiness and ongoing creative projects.
  • Able to independently track tasks, appointments, deadlines, and follow-up needs.
  • Comfortable maintaining and resetting household systems as part of recurring support, with patience when spaces or routines need repeated attention.
  • An appreciation for the arts and creativity is a plus.
