Description

Compassionate and reliable? Come make a difference.

Providence Place Senior Living is hiring full-time Caregivers for our Pine Grove campus — a secure assisted living community for residents living with dementia. You’ll help residents with daily life — dressing, bathing, mobility, and meals — serve in the dining room, join in activities, and sometimes simply be a good friend. No experience? We’ll train you — and help you grow from here.

What you’ll do

  • Assist residents with daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and dining
  • Serve meals and help create a warm, welcoming dining experience
  • Protect residents’ independence, dignity, and choice in everything you do
  • Take part in the Connections activity program — lead small groups, support activities and outings
  • Keep a watchful eye — notice changes in a resident’s health or behavior and report them promptly
  • Help with resident laundry and keeping the community beautiful

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts: 6:00am–6:00pm (days) or 6:00pm–6:00am (nights)
  • Work only 14 days a month — 3 days one week, 4 days the next
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Pay

  • Starting at $16.50–$18.50/hour, depending on shift
  • Raise after you successfully complete training and orientation

Career path: earn up to $2.00/hour more as you build your skills

What you bring

  • 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Patient, compassionate, and reliable — a true team player
  • Comfortable on your feet for up to 11 hours; able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • No experience needed — entry level, we will train you, including Validation and CARES dementia-care training (direct care experience or CPR a plus)

Benefits (full-time)

Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, your birthday as a holiday, career path opportunities, and more.
