About the Role
A private household is seeking an experienced and reliable Personal Driver to support a family with young children. You will be responsible for daily school runs, family transportation across Singapore and occasional work-related trips to Johor, Malaysia.
This is a stable, long-term opportunity for a safety-conscious, discreet and service-oriented driver who takes pride in providing dependable support to a private household.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable transportation for the family, including daily school drop-offs and pick-ups
- Drive the principal for work-related trips to Johor, Malaysia
- Manage daily routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition, including regular washing
- Coordinate vehicle-related matters such as servicing, road tax and VEP renewals
- Remain flexible to accommodate changes in family and school schedules, including overtime when required
- Maintain strict confidentiality, discretion and professionalism when dealing with the family
Requirements
- Fluent Mandarin with conversational English; Mandarin is important for communication with the household principal
- Prior experience as a Personal, Family or Private Driver preferred
- Experience driving for families with young children will be an advantage
- Valid Class 3 / 3A driving licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving in Singapore and making cross-border trips to Johor
- Familiarity with Malaysia checkpoints and VEP procedures is an advantage
- Punctual, well-groomed, trustworthy and service-oriented
- Comfortable working within a private household environment
- Willing to undergo background and reference checks
