About the Firm

A well-established plaintiff’s personal injury firm is looking for an attorney to join its pre-litigation department. The firm is known for putting clients first, for a collaborative team, and for giving attorneys the support to manage cases well.

The Role

You will handle a pre-litigation personal injury caseload from intake through resolution. That includes:

  • Evaluating liability and damages, and building case value
  • Preparing and sending demand packages
  • Negotiating with insurance carriers to get strong pre-suit settlements
  • Working with case managers and paralegals to keep cases moving
  • Advising clients and keeping them informed at every stage
  • Referring cases into litigation when a fair resolution can’t be reached

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school and active bar license in good standing
  • Experience in plaintiff-side personal injury; pre-lit negotiation experience strongly preferred
  • Strong negotiation, writing, and client communication skills
  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload
