Location

New York, NY (Manhattan) — Full-Time, On-Site. Join our team in the heart of Manhattan, where you'll collaborate closely with experienced legal professionals and take an active role in high-impact cases.

Note:

Candidates must be admitted to the New York State Bar and have 4+ years of New York personal injury litigation experience. We are looking for an attorney who is comfortable independently managing cases and driving them toward successful resolutions.

Job Description

• Independently manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and construction-related injuries.
• Develop litigation strategies and guide cases from pleadings and discovery through settlement or trial preparation.
• Take and defend depositions, attend court conferences, and advocate for clients in New York courts.
• Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment motions and other substantive litigation filings.
• Evaluate claims, negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel, and pursue favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to keep cases organized, compliant, and moving forward.
• Work closely with firm leadership on case strategy, valuation, and resolution.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Bar admission in good standing.
• 4+ years of New York personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience independently managing litigation matters, including depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of New York civil litigation procedures and the CPLR.
• Excellent negotiation, legal writing, communication, and case management skills.
• Plaintiff-side experience and familiarity with New York Labor Law construction claims are preferred.
