Personal Lines Customer Service Representative
123 Insurance, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to deliver responsive, high-quality service to personal lines clients. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, collaborative, organized, and motivated to grow professionally in a fast-paced, supportive work environment. This role requires strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, and clear interpersonal communication to support account retention, assist with new business opportunities, and ensure an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming client calls and inquiries related to billing, policy information, products and services, and general account needs; route requests to the appropriate team when needed.
Process requests from clients, carriers, and third parties, including policy changes, binders, endorsements, and related documentation.
Review client coverage needs, identify potential gaps or opportunities, and help resolve service concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Accurately update client records in the agency management system during and after each interaction.
Support producers by completing applications and binders, assisting with policy rewrites, and providing underwriting information to carriers as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred.
Ability and willingness to learn agency management systems, rating platforms, carrier portals, and digital service tools.
Self-motivated professional who can manage priorities effectively in a high-volume environment with frequent interruptions.
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering quality work and excellent client service.
Job Environment & Conditions:
This role is primarily performed in an office setting. While performing the essential functions of the position, the employee is regularly required to sit, hear, and use hands and arms; the employee may occasionally stand or walk. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
