Personal Service Attendant (afternoon shift)

Not an IT role — this is an onsite caregiver/CNA position at Woodhaven Retirement Community in Livonia, MI. Day-to-day work involves assisting elderly residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility), monitoring condition changes, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment on the afternoon shift.

We are currently seeking full-time and part-time dedicated and caring Caregivers/CNAs to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our elderly residents.
Job Overview: As a Direct Caregiver/CNA, you will be responsible for providing personalized care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by delivering high-quality, compassionate care while building meaningful relationships with them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Engage with residents in meaningful conversations and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
- Ensure confidentiality and respect for residents' rights, dignity, and preferences.
- Foster positive relationships with families, residents, and staff members.
