Job Description – Personal Caregiver (Private Home)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Caregiver to provide in-home support to a paraplegic female patient. The caregiver will primarily assist with continence care while ensuring dignity, respect, and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer suppository as instructed by the family
  

• Provide assistance during continence care, including clean-up after bowel movements
  

• Support patient with catheter care as needed (patient primarily self-manages; caregiver assists with required items)
  

• Follow family-provided training and care instructions
  

• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and respectful care environment
  

• Communicate any concerns regarding patient health or care to the family
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care, home care, or caregiving roles (preferred)
  

• Comfort with providing intimate personal care
  

• Ability to follow patient- and family-directed care plans and instructions
  

• COVID-19 vaccination not required for this position
  

• No interview with family or HomecareHub required prior to assignment
