Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Ecorse, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Help clients with mobility and transportation as needed
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual with strong time-management abilities
• Ability to pass background checks
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is an asset
