Personnel Coordinator
The Personnel Coordinator at Breitenbush is a key position that manages all aspects of Human Resources for the cooperative. This is a full time, year round position.
Breitenbush is more than a workplace—it is a cooperative community and worker-owned co-op where staff live and work together, share responsibility for the land and the guest experience, and participate in the life of the community. Our culture is collaborative, values-driven, and deeply human, with all the rewards and challenges that come from being part of a close-knit community.
The Personnel Coordinator plays an important role in helping Breitenbush maintain a healthy, respectful, and inclusive workplace while honoring the cooperative values that shape how we work together. This role serves as a trusted resource for staff, Team Coordinators, leadership, and the Board of Directors; helps navigate conflict and difficult conversations; supports effective leadership; and works to identify and address organizational patterns before they become larger problems. The ideal candidate brings both warmth and strong boundaries—the ability to listen deeply and build trust while also upholding fair, consistent, and legally sound employment practices. This is a role for someone who believes that healthy organizations are built through relationships, accountability, thoughtful communication, and a genuine commitment to the people who make the community possible.
