This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Frontend React/Angular - Especialista II (Plataforma e Login Único) based in Brazil.

This is a senior frontend engineering opportunity focused on building and evolving a highly scalable proprietary e-commerce platform.
You’ll work on high-performance, responsive interfaces that support multiple brands, products, and digital experiences.
The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and platform modernization.
A key focus will be migrating legacy Angular code toward React while establishing modern frontend standards and patterns.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Marketplace teams in an agile environment.
The position offers significant autonomy, with the opportunity to influence technology choices, developer experience, and platform maturity.
You’ll also contribute directly to production stability, observability, performance, accessibility, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop high-performance, scalable, interactive, and responsive user interfaces for a large-scale e-commerce platform.
  • Write, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain frontend applications while ensuring production stability and reliability.
  • Participate in application support, monitoring alerts, on-call rotations, and resolution of squad-related incidents.
  • Act as a technical reference for the team, contributing through code reviews, pair programming, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead the evolution and technical maturity of frontend architecture, exploring new technologies and establishing engineering standards and patterns.
  • Drive the migration of legacy Angular applications and codebases toward React and modern frontend technologies.
  • Design and apply scalable frontend architectures, including Design Systems and Micro Front-end approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Marketplace teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Conduct technical audits of existing and upcoming features to identify opportunities for improvements in usability, performance, quality, and maintainability.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and actively participate in implementation and architectural decisions with an ownership mindset.
  • Optimize applications for loading speed, accessibility, responsiveness, conversion, and overall user experience.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across development, CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and engineering practices.
  • Requirements:

    • Advanced professional experience with React and its modern ecosystem, together with strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
    • Practical knowledge of Angular, particularly in the context of maintaining or migrating legacy applications.
    • Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
    • Strong understanding of Git, REST APIs, CI/CD practices, and modern software development workflows.
    • Solid knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, page-load improvements, and conversion-oriented development.
    • Experience with scalable frontend architecture, including Design Systems and Micro Front-end architectures.
    • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as New Relic, Datadog, or equivalent tools.
    • Experience working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
    • Strong autonomy and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to solving complex technical problems.
    • Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong focus on customer experience, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
    • Experience with e-commerce platforms and marketplace ecosystems is a strong advantage.
    • Knowledge of Node.js, GraphQL, Next.js, Monorepos, Google Core Web Vitals, AWS/GCP, Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, Sonar, or Fortify is a plus.
