Role: Pet Care and Dog Daycare Attendant

Status: Full-time

Salary: $17.13 – $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Flexible full-time schedule with rotating weekends

Experience: 1+ year of animal handling and care experience

As a Pet Care and Dog Daycare Attendant, you’ll split your time between caring for boarding pets and keeping our daycare dogs safe, social, and having fun. Your day covers everything from mealtime and meds to play groups and belly rubs.

What Pet Care & Daycare Attendants Do

• Provide compassionate, attentive care to boarding and daycare pets
• Prepare meals and follow feeding instructions for each pet
• Administer medications as directed
• Offer exercise, play, and enrichment to keep pets happy and engaged
• Supervise dogs during daycare play groups, keeping play safe and fun
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare kennel spaces
• Communicate pet needs, behavior, and concerns to teammates and supervisors

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year of animal handling and care experience
• Comfort handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong communication and organization skills
• A team-player attitude that builds trust with staff and supervisors
• The ability to stay calm and adaptable in a busy, noisy, high-energy environment
• Availability for rotating weekends
• The ability to stand and move for extended periods, and to lift and restrain animals of varying sizes
