Job Summary
The indirect business is a strategic member of the organization. He/she is in charge of:

Achieving sales, shares and in-store KPI within Key Customers in the Pet channel

Build strong engagement by developing, negotiating and implementing indirect business with Key wholesaler in the Pet channel. Produce clear and efficient internal communication to ensure excellent execution

Conduct effective negotiations to implement Terms and Conditions aimed at achieving profitable growth for Hill’s and Customers
-
Represent Hill’s as the strategic partner of choice in premium dog and cat nutrition to Customers in Japan
-
Build strong / efficient Go-To-Market strategy

Develop a clear understanding of customer strategies, policies and future plans including Digital opportunities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Build and improve our Go-To-Market strategy following our company strategy. Negotiate and follow up indirect business KPI's with key accounts wholesalers. Implement an efficient communication plan through high-level negotiations with the wholesaler's headquarters. |

Manage agreed budget for Commercial Investment. Propose the best investment strategy for Budget and LEs. Conduct GtN review to balance accruals vs actuals with the Finance Department . Based on monthly sales discipline, sales progress will be clearly shown, improving the accuracy of forecasts. |

Establish an effective communication plan by working closely with cross-functional teams, primarily CD members, finance, and CSL teams. |

In line with the company's channel strategy, implement an exit plan for non-strategy retailers. |

Develop Distribution Policy implementation and compliance to Commercial Selling Principles |

Manage the breeder business and establish an effective and sustainable implementation plan. |

Represent Hill’s at meetings/conferences e.g. Trade shows, Pet training days, Local and National meetings, Client Meetings |

Education/ Experience Requirements
Basic qualifications include:

University Degree
-
At least 5-7 years of experience in Customer Development/Sales

Fluency in Japanese, Business English (Preferred)

Valid driver’s license required
Preferred qualifications include: Experience in FMCG or wholesale management
