Pet Groomer

Key Responsibilities:

• Bathe, shampoo, and dry pets.
• Brush and detangle pet fur.
• Trim, style, and groom coats according to breed standards or customer preferences.
• Clip nails and clean ears.
• Check pets for skin conditions, parasites, or other health issues and report concerns to pet owners.
• Handle pets safely and compassionately during grooming procedures.
• Clean and sanitize grooming tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Maintain grooming records and appointment schedules.
• Provide advice to pet owners on pet care and grooming maintenance.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and breed-specific grooming styles.
• Ability to handle animals safely and calmly.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift pets when necessary.
• Certification in pet grooming is an advantage.
