Pet Transport Driver (Part-Time)

We're looking for a responsible, animal-loving independent driver to safely transport pets between clients' homes and our grooming shop.

What you'll do:

• Pick up pets from clients' homes and bring them to the shop for grooming appointments

• Safely secure pets during transport (in travel crates)

• Return pets home after grooming is complete

• Communicate with clients about pickup/drop-off times and any delays

• Handle pets calmly and confidently, including nervous or anxious animals

• Keep your vehicle clean, sanitized, and pet-safe between trips

• Follow a daily pickup/drop-off schedule and plan your route efficiently

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Valid vehicle insurance and registration

• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments

• Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious

• Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and shop staff

• Ability to lift/carry pets and pet carriers as needed

Engagement details:

• Commitment: Minimum of 2 days per week, with at least 1 of those days being a Saturday

• Scheduling: You'll join our team of part-time drivers. Each month, everyone submits their available dates for the following month, and the roster is planned around everyone's availability.

• Flexibility: Because the roster is built from your submitted availability, you can plan time off in advance, such as a week or two for a family holiday for example
