PETROLEUM DATA ANALYST

Summary

Analyze well integrity data for onshore/offshore fields and maintain the Well Integrity Management System using SQL-based tools.

Overview

Primary Purpose Of The Job: The primary purpose of this role is to analyze well integrity–related data across onshore and offshore fields and to serve as the end-user focal point for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Well Integrity Management System (WIMS).

Required Experience And Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in data analyst activities.
  • Experience in designing and creating relational databases (for example: SQL Server, MS Access).
  • Some exposure to Petroleum or Reservoir Engineer activities or Well Integrity investigations is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, supplemented by industry-recognized courses in Engineering and Geoscience data management. Degrees in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems will also be considered, provided they are supported by relevant industry training in computer applications.
