Position Summary:
The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescription medications while providing exceptional patient care and medication counseling. This role supports the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations, and promotes wellness within the community.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and accurately fill prescriptions according to prescriber instructions and legal requirements.

Provide medication counseling to patients, including proper use, potential side effects, interactions, and storage.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals, new medications, and therapeutic trends.

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.

Supervise, train, and support pharmacy technicians and interns.

Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining proper stock levels.

Process insurance claims and resolve third-party issues efficiently.

Promote health initiatives such as immunizations, medication therapy management, and wellness screenings.

Build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers to support coordinated care.

Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential health information.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9 am - 8 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9 am - 6 pm
