The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by providing accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers. This role plays a critical part in promoting positive patient outcomes and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications
• Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, storage, and adherence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, order medications, and manage pharmaceutical supplies
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies
• Administer immunizations and other clinical services, as applicable
• Stay current with developments in pharmaceuticals and healthcare practices
