Description
Our established client in the public healthcare sector is looking to hire a Senior/ Pharmacist to join their team!
5.25 days office hours (alternate Saturdays half-day)
Public Healthcare Institution in the West Region
Yearly AWS + Performance Bonus (up to 4 months)
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate dispensing of medications while ensuring compliance with local regulations and protocols.
Oversee pharmacy technicians in preparing, labelling, and delivering medications based on physicians’ prescriptions.
Address prescription ambiguities, and assess and resolve drug-related issues while advising healthcare professionals appropriately.
Educate patients on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication usage for improved self-care compliance.
Facilitate smooth daily pharmacy operations while maintaining profitability and customer service excellence.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular audits to minimize waste and ensure quality.
Orient and train new team members and pharmacy students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Assist in administrative tasks, including financial audits and report preparation, to support pharmacy operations.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain accurate compliance documentation.
Coach and supervise team members while participating in workplace improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Degree in Pharmacy
Fully registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
