Description

The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is responsible for the overall pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and clinical oversight of PromptCare's enteral nutrition support pharmacy based in New Jersey. This role serves as the designated PIC of record for the NJ home pharmacy and willing to obtain non-resident pharmacy licensure in Tennessee, New York, and Massachusetts within six (6) months of employment to support and supervise the dispensing, verification, and shipment of enteral nutrition formulas and related supplies to patients residing in those states. The PIC ensures that all multi-state dispensing activity complies with each state board of pharmacy's non-resident/mail-order pharmacy regulations, as well as applicable federal requirements (DEA, FDA, HIPAA). This is a hands-on regulatory — not strictly administrative — requiring the PIC to personally hold and maintain each required license, sign board renewals/attestations, and serve as the responsible, licensed pharmacist for interstate shipping compliance.
