Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations across retail and LTC workflows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Verify prescriptions and provide clinical oversight in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Support and guide pharmacy technicians, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and facility staff to resolve medication-related issues and ensure continuity of care
- Monitor and optimize workflow, turnaround times, and operational performance
- Assist in inventory management, including controlled substances and high-cost medications
- Ensure compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, and company policies
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement solutions that enhance productivity and patient care
