Pharmacy manager required for this friendly independent pharmacy group

Situated in amongst the most beautiful surroundings. We are inviting an accomplished pharmacist/pharmacy manager to lead our warm, independently owned pharmacy group in this historic coastal town. This position offers the chance to drive high-quality, patient-centred services while working with a supportive team in an exceptionally attractive location.

The area is rich in maritime heritage and scenic coastal charm, with historic stone cottages, harbour views, and deep roots in Scotland's 19th-century herring industry. If you're not yet an independent prescriber, this role is especially valuable, as the client prioritises and supports all necessary training to help you become an independent prescriber.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm / 2pm - 5.30pm. Saturdays 9am - 1pm (frequency to be discussed).

Key duties:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical services.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to patients and staff, including overseeing the dispensing process and offering healthcare advice.
  • Drive business performance by managing stock, budgets, and targets, while identifying opportunities to enhance services and community engagement.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the pharmacy team, fostering a positive working environment and ensuring continued professional development.

Package and benefits:

  • Newly qualified first year £50,000 + generous retention payment. Highly supported role for first year in practice.
  • Non-IP £52,000 + generous retention payment.
  • IP pharmacist £58,000 + generous IP retention payment.
  • 34 days holiday per year (includes public holidays).
  • GPhC fees paid.
  • Additional bonus opportunity.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Must be a qualified pharmacist in the UK.
  • Must have GPhC registration (or registration pending following successful GPhC exams).
  • Visa sponsorship available.
