Pharmacy Production Technician (Toter/Filler)

The Pharmacy Production Technician performs core medication production activities across filling, pre-pack, tote, and related workflows to ensure medications are prepared, tracked, packaged, and staged accurately for pharmacist verification and delivery.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Print medication labels and match them to prescription orders.

• Fill and hand-pack medications according to procedures and safety standards.

• Submit prepared medications for pharmacist verification and quality assurance.

• Operate approved pre-pack automation and monitor packaging accuracy.

• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues within established authority and escalate as needed.

• Verify, scan, tote, and stage medications in the correct facility receptacles and delivery sequence.

• Maintain organized workstations, replenish supplies, and support production targets.

• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
