What You’ll Do

• Fill, label, and prepare prescriptions
• Enter prescription orders, insurance claims, and refill requests into the electronic health record while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients, answering phones, processing payments, and balancing cash drawers.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and supplies
• Collaborate with providers and care team members as needed
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bilingual
• BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Registered with NC Board of Pharmacy as a Technician within 30 days of employment and then annually.
• 340B University for Health Centers Certification (within 90 days)
• Medicare Parts C & D General Compliance Training and Combating Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (within 90 days, and then annually)

PREFERRED

• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy Experience (Will train on the job)
