Pharmacy Tech II
The Pharmacy Tech prepares medication, upon receipt of prescription, for use within the hospital. Enters drug information into pharmacy computer to establish patient drug regimes. Purchases pharmaceuticals and stocks pharmacy and ancillary departments with medications based on par levels. Communicates drug information with nursing staff.

Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
Minimum Experience: None
Required Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician, Texas Pharmacy Tech Registration required.
Required Licensure: None needed until certified
