Responsible for obtaining new and existing prescription renewals from dialysis facilities and/or physician offices through verbal authorizations via inbound/outbound calls
Providing accurate & timely communication
Securing prescription orders for patients whose prescriptions are not on file or for existing prescriptions that have no refills
Handling outbound calls to follow up with Doctors regarding prescription issues, i.e. new scripts, clarify scripts, codes are incorrect, etc

1-2 years pharmacy experience preferred.
Retail Pharmacy or healthcare background experience required
Must be comfortable working with patients and their families. Good customer service skills required
High school graduate or equivalent
