Pharmacy Technician (Inpatient, Retail and Emergency Pharmacy, Dispensing, Roster Coordination) #HDC1

A private hospital is looking for Pharmacy Technicians to support its inpatient, retail and emergency pharmacies. You will help dispense medications accurately, maintain inventory and coach team members.

What You'll Be Doing

• Dispense medications according to Good Dispensing Guidelines and counsel patients
• Maintain drug distribution and a stringent, accurate inventory control system
• Assist pharmacists with drug ordering, processing and replenishment
• Provide professional, friendly service to patients and staff
• Support roster planning for adequate pharmacy coverage across inpatient, retail and emergency areas
• Supervise, coach and train pharmacy technicians and assistants in work processes
• Work with pharmacists on inventory management and procurement
• Support the pharmacy manager on related projects
• Handle clerical and administrative work as assigned by pharmacists
• Work rostered shifts, including weekends, as required

What You'll Bring

• Diploma in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology or a related discipline and above
• Experience in hospital or retail dispensing is an advantage
• Valid pharmacy technician registration where applicable
• Knowledge of drug names, dosages and inventory control
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Team player who is willing to coach others
• Willing to work rostered shifts including weekends
