About the Position: This position is located at Naval Health Clinic New England, Newport, Rhode Island A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Determine type of substance, strength, dosage, and quantity to be dispensed.
Receive, review, prepare, fill, and dispense physician orders for prescriptions.
Enter prescriptions into outpatient computer system.
Obtain the pharmaceutical, prepare package labels, and set up for review.
Provide customer service to patients and staff.
Take steps to rectify discrepancies as they are found.
Maintain and clean assigned medication filling and dispensing stations.
