Make a meaningful impact in patient care every day. As an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacists and enhancing the patient experience across the continuum of care.

In this dynamic position, you will coordinate appointments, gather and accurately document patient information, and conduct interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers. Your expertise will also support prior authorization processes, and you may have the opportunity to administer vaccines within your scope at the practice site.

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Upon hire: Alaska Pharmacy Technician License
  • Within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable.
  • 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience if without National Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians)
  • 1 year Customer Service experience
