Photo and Video Producer

Job Overview

Bring standout visual stories to life at Marvin! We’re looking for a Photo and Video Producer to join the Marvin Creative Studio and help create premium still, film, and motion content. This role produces small- and medium-scale photo and video shoots from early planning through final delivery. Working with photographers, videographers, art directors, designers, copywriters, content strategists, and creative leads, this producer will help strengthen Marvin’s presence with trade audiences and across paid, owned, internal, and digital channels.

You’ll excel If you pairs strong production fundamentals with organization, curiosity, and calm follow-through. Success in this role comes from understanding how to coordinate schedules, locations, talent, crews, equipment, budgets, releases, and post-production reviews while keeping partners informed. This role is based in Eagan or Warroad, Minnesota, and includes regular travel to Warroad as well as travel for shoots.

Highlights of your role

• Co-create compelling still, film, and motion content with members of the Marvin Creative Studio for paid, owned, internal, and digital channels.

• Produce small- and medium-scale internal and external shoots, coordinating studios, locations, talent, crews, equipment, schedules, and other production details.

• Lead pre-production for small- and medium-scale projects, including story-mining sessions, project socialization, production schedules, and plans for motion and still capture.

• Manage post-production workflows, creative reviews, and project communication to support on-time delivery that meets the project brief.

• Develop and maintain production budgets from planning through reconciliation, including estimates for voiceover, music, translation, and other off-site services.

• Book crew members and talent as needed, manage releases, and negotiate usage and rates to maximize production efficiency.

• Support large-scale productions, collaborate across the Studio to reduce brand risk, and bring forward photo and video trends that inspire new approaches.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• 3+ years of experience producing motion and still content in an agency or corporate setting.

• A bachelor’s degree, advertising or art school credentials, or equivalent industry experience.

• A working understanding of photography and videography shoot processes, including pre-production and post-production.

• Strong time management, organization, communication, and attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects.

• The ability to travel to Warroad at least one day per week by up-and-back shuttle flight and travel for shoots approximately 50% of the year.

Also want to make sure you have

• Confidence guiding partners across the organization through photography and videography processes.

• Comfort with photography and videography file types and basic editing software.

• An openness to feedback and the ability to adjust quickly and offer options that support project goals.

• A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to work independently when needed.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop or Illustrator; working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects is preferred.

$63,000 - $75,000 annually
