Photographer & Photo Editor
The Photographer & Photo Editor will be responsible for capturing high-quality visuals during weddings and other events, and editing them in line with the LIVXS brand style. The role involves planning shoots, coordinating with teams on-ground, and delivering curated, color-corrected images within the defined timeline. A strong eye for composition, light, and detail is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Photography (On-Ground Execution)
Capture candid and traditional moments across all wedding functions (Haldi, Mehendi, Cocktail, Wedding, etc.)
Follow shot lists shared by the Creative Director or Project Manager
Coordinate with the cinematography team and function leads for optimal angles and crowd flow
Conduct basic venue recce before functions and adjust camera settings as per lighting needs
Deliver SD cards/data to the designated backup assistant after every function
2. Photo Editing & Curation
Curate the best 300–500 images per wedding project, based on event and package
Edit images using Lightroom (basic retouch, exposure correction, color grading)
Maintain consistency in tone and deliver files in HD + web resolution formats
Follow the folder structure, naming format, and WorkDrive upload SOP for delivery
3. Team Collaboration
Coordinate with the post-production team to ensure timely handoff of selected files
Assist the Album Designer with curated and labelled photos when needed.
Participate in internal review sessions to align on feedback and creative direction
Keep the Creative Director updated on shoot quality and editing progress.
4. File & Workflow Management
Rename folders/files using LIVXS conventions (Client_Function_Cam_Timestamp)
Maintain backups for 90 days and follow cloud syncing procedures
Update task status in ClickUp or Notion based on shoot/edit progress
Requirements
Key Skills Required
Strong photography skills in both candid and traditional styles
Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom (basic Photoshop is a plus)
Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-function wedding setups
Good eye for color grading, image aesthetics, and storytelling
Organized with file handling and workflow documentation
Qualifications Preferred
1–3 years of experience in wedding or event photography and editing
Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Portfolio of past work is required at the time of application
Experience with album desiging workflows is a plus
