Just Digital People are looking for an experienced PHP/Laravel Developer to join an established Australian not-for-profit organisation on a 12-month fixed term contract.
You'll be joining a collaborative development team working on web applications and digital products that support organisations and communities across Australia. This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys building quality software and wants to work on technology that has a genuine purpose behind it.
You'll be involved across the full development lifecycle, working alongside other developers and stakeholders to design, build, test and improve web-based solutions.

What you will ideally bring:
- Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel
- Solid experience with object-oriented PHP development
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON and web services
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Experience with Git and modern development practices
- Exposure to Docker and Linux environments
- Experience working within an Agile development team
- An understanding of web accessibility and responsive web development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A genuine interest in using technology to create positive social impact
