PHP Developer----Need 4-6 years of exp with PHP development
About the role
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong database knowledge and excellent problem-solving abilities to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience developing and maintaining PHP-based applications, working with MySQL databases, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Experience with GLPI is highly desirable, but candidates with a strong willingness and ability to learn GLPI are also encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based applications and systems.
Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases, including writing efficient queries and improving database performance.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues across application and database layers.
Customize and extend GLPI functionalities based on business requirements.
Perform system integrations and API development when required.
Investigate reported issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
Continuously improve system performance, security, and usability.
About you
Strong experience in PHP development.
Good knowledge of MySQL database design, queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good fundamentals in software programming.
Experience with debugging and resolving complex technical issues will be desirable.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
Hands-on experience with GLPI (IT Asset Management, Service Desk, and ITSM platform).
Experience with GLPI customization, plugins, workflows, and integrations.
Knowledge of Linux server environments and web servers such as Apache or Nginx.
