PHP developer

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable backend solutions and takes ownership of the code quality and technical decisions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve web applications used by real users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using PHP
  

• Participate in system design and technical decision-making
  

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
  

• Improve performance, scalability, and security of existing systems
  

• Refactor and modernize legacy codebases
  

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  

• Conduct code reviews and ensure best engineering practices
  

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers
  

• Contribute to system monitoring, logging, and debugging
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with PHP
  

• Strong experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar)
  

• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  

• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
  

• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  

• Experience with version control systems (Git)
  

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
  

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  

• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
