PHP Developer (Yii)
What you'll be doing
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Yii framework, ensuring code quality and best practices
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing applications
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Implement database design and optimisation strategies to enhance application performance
Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications as required
Stay updated with the latest PHP and Yii framework developments and industry best practices
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
What we're looking for
Proven professional experience as a PHP Developer with demonstrated expertise in the Yii framework
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms
Solid knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
Experience with RESTful API development and integration
Familiarity with web security best practices and secure coding principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian
Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is advantageous
Knowledge of Linux environments and command-line operations is preferred
