The Role

As a software engineer, you'll use your analytical, engineering-focused approach and apply the principles of software engineering to design, develop, and maintain our platform that ensures client needs.

In your first 3 months at Antavo

  • On your first days you can expect a professional onboarding process with the HR Team and with your dedicated onboarding buddy who will help you throughout the next period.
  • In your first week, you will join one of our agile teams and you will dive deep in getting to know the Engineering Manifesto - which includes our key values, coding conventions, and code style guides and what means for the company, your team, and how it impacts your work.
  • In the following weeks, you will learn about our domain and go deeper into our daily operations such as SDLC, how we spike a user story, and how we do code reviews.
  • By the end of your first 3 months, you will gain knowledge of our domain and will have knowledge about our full development lifecycle to deal with your first tasks.

Requirements

  • Knowledge about professional software engineering, and writing code under SOLID principles and implementing Clean Code.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL technologies (Redis, MongoDB or similar).
  • Experience leveraging and establishing guardrails for AI-assisted engineering tools to improve team velocity safely.
  • Grasp of cloud-native infrastructure and telemetry/observability practices to drive system reliability and incident prevention.
  • Experience in development of complex systems and high-volume transaction applications.
  • Ability to clearly document requirements and specifications.
  • Ability to work on projects as part of a team in a fully remote environment and to manage your own workload in a high-paced agile environment.
  • A bias to action, desire for ownership, and love for problem-solving.
  • You’re kind and empathetic, relying on and supporting the rest of the team for discussions and code or design reviews.
  • You are able to craft a vision and clarify an ambiguous problem space into clear, tangible building blocks of a roadmap.
