PHP Wordpress Developer
We are looking for a PHP Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP, WordPress, and MySQL. The ideal candidate must have strong logical skills, good understanding of WordPress architecture, and the ability to work on custom development tasks with clean, maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based modules and features.
- Work on WordPress theme/plugin customization, hooks, filters, and template hierarchy.
- Implement and manage ACF field groups and custom post types.
- Build efficient MySQL queries and work with relational database design.
- Perform basic front-end changes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Follow MVC and OOP principles in custom module development.
- Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and code inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with designers, team members, and QA for smooth delivery.
Requirements
Required Technical Skills
- Strong Core PHP knowledge with good logical fundamentals.
- MySQL (queries, joins, DB structure understanding).
- WordPress architecture, custom theme/plugin development.
- Strong understanding of WP_Query, meta queries, taxonomy queries.
- Experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
- Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Understanding of MVC frameworks & OOP concepts.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks (React/Vue/Angular).
- Git or basic version-control experience.
- Familiarity with REST APIs.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly WP development.
Additional Skills
- Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Trello, Zoho (if applicable)
- Soft expectations (problem-solving, debugging ability, accountability).
