Physical Security Assessment Specialist
Responsibilities
- Lead the physical security portion of Higher Headquarters Assessments (HHAs) at assigned global Army installations, executing up to 29 assessments (averaging 20) per year.
- Audit and measure installation protection programs against DoW, COCOM, Service Component Command, and IMCOM standards.
- Analyze how physical security intersects with and impacts adjacent domains, including Antiterrorism, Emergency Management, CBRNE, COOP, Cybersecurity, and Network Infrastructure.
- Generate data-driven findings, pinpoint compliance gaps, and deliver actionable recommendations to measurably improve each installation's overall protection posture.
- Draft, review, and finalize high-quality technical reports, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and executive-level project briefings for senior leadership.
- Coordinate directly with local and enterprise-level stakeholders to ensure assessment findings are accurate, integrated, and realistic for the operational environment.
- 10-12 years experience in in the areas of security management, operations, antiterrorism and physical security system analysis.
- Experience in conducting vulnerability assessment for a wide-variety of mission critical infrastructure
- Hands-on experience executing Protection Program compliance assessments or formal inspector general/command inspections.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
