PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2162000 and is part of the PA 171st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. INDEFINITE Position may lead to permanent assignment without further advertisement.

As a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST, GS-0080-09, you will be responsible for the management and administration of the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) program. Responsible for the management and administration of the physical access control systems (i.e. Defense Biometrics Identification System - DBIDS). Perform administrative office support functions and develops, coordinates, and publishes all SF installation level publications to include the Installation Security Plan, the Installation Security Instruction, and SF annexes to all installation plans. Perform installation security duties. Leads and manages SF programs designed to provide a secure mission environment. Manage police services. Manage Security Forces Management Information System (SFMIS). Perform and enforce the full range of SF duties within the military installation. Perform other duties as assigned.
