Physical Security Systems Specialist
You will lead all aspects of Ripple's Global Security strategy for physical security systems, coordinating the entire lifecycle of access control and video surveillance infrastructure. You'll manage projects for new builds, provide daily operational support, and handle break/fix issues. You'll apply technical solutions to improve existing processes, integrating AI-powered analytics, automation, and advanced data correlation to boost efficiency and provide proactive threat intelligence. You'll act as the lead resource for technical security, sharing insights on new technologies and supporting architecture and integration of global systems. You'll manage vendor relationships, oversee system administration and firmware updates, conduct regular audits, and provide expert technical support in-region for new security systems.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead resource for technical security, sharing insights on new technologies and supporting architecture, engineering, and integration of global physical security systems
- Build, implement, and maintain Ripple's global technical security infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments
- Develop and enforce global physical security standards and technical specifications
- Manage the full lifecycle of physical security projects, including roadmap and budget requirements for design-build, break-fix, and preventive maintenance
- Lead vendor relationships and measure performance of third-party contractors and security integrators
- Coordinate system administration, configuration, and maintenance of security systems, including software and firmware updates
- Deploy innovative security solutions using existing tool suites and technological advancements
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of technical security systems
- Provide expert technical support in-region for new security systems and lead project management of security system changes
Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience handling enterprise physical security systems, including access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems such as Avigilon or Alta Open
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of information technology operations supported by work experience, education or certification including ITSM/ITIL, PMP, etc.
- Experience managing people, projects and vendors with successful delivery in a timely manner and on-budget
- Strong sense of integrity, and the capability to manage confidential issues professionally with suitable judgment and maturity
