Physical Therapist Assistant

• Location: Greensburg, IN
• Facility: Greensburg Honda Occupational and Employee Health
• Department: Occupational Health and Wellness Preventative Care
• Schedule: Monday - Friday Days/Evening Coverage depending on patient needs | Flexibility required
  

• Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
• Documents treatment interventions given.
• May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Indiana Physical Therapy Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Or Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. If hired with Temporary Permit, must pass boards and obtain Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) credential within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• PTA experience preferred, but not required.
• Occupational Health/manufacturing experience a plus.
