Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Asbury Methodist Village | Gaithersburg, MD
Benchmark Therapies is looking for Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistants to join our team at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, MD!
As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to provide thoughtful, individualized care while helping residents improve their mobility, build strength, and maintain the highest possible quality of life.

What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Help residents improve or maintain functional mobility, transfers, gait, and independence.
- Support residents in developing strength, coordination, balance, and endurance.
- Follow individualized treatment plans while recognizing each resident's unique needs and goals.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.
- Collaborate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team to support resident progress.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health.
What We're Looking For
- Active Maryland PTA license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- A genuine interest in working with older adults.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care.
- Someone who is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently while being part of a team.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living is helpful, but not required.
