About the Role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Evolve, you play a key role in providing high-quality outpatient care to a diverse orthopedic population. You’ll have the opportunity to use your clinical judgement as you work alongside a team of Physical Therapists to develop and carry out treatment plans, progress exercises, and reinforce patient education. This is a collaborative
clinical role in a fast-paced outpatient setting where quality care is a priority.
Your day-to-day includes:
- Deliver 1:1 high-quality patient care in 30-minute treatment sessions with a focus on functional outcomes and long-term success
- Carry treatment plans developed by the supervising PT, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual techniques, and modalities
- Manage your own caseload and work with patients throughout their course of care, while under the supervision of our physical therapy team.
- Educate patients on their condition, plan of care, home program, and strategies to support long-term progress
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using Prompt EMR
- Collaborate with fellow clinicians through case discussions, mentorship, and shared learning
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- New York PTA license in good standing or eligibility for licensure
